What are the Class requirements with respect to repairs in indents of hull steel plates? In which case may the Class society accept that no repairs are necessary?

When an indent affects the internal structure of the vessel, then it shall always be repaired because it affects the global buckling strength of the vessel.
When an indent appears on the plating between internal structure, then it may be accepted by the Class depending on the depth of the indent. If the depth is lower than (frame spacing)/ 12, it may be accepted. Otherwise, it shall be repaired.
