Are mathematics relevant to the day to day job of a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, nowadays?
of course, mathematics is relevant in the day-to-day job and general in life if I may say
The nature of how we calculate this might have changed. For example, we utilize computerized programs, algorithms, and software to solve mathematical problems related to naval architecture, but we still need maths.
Do you call “maths” the basic mathematical operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division?
Other than that that, what else do naval architects use on a daily basis, nowadays?
Dont believe so mate
