New building contracts signded after the 1st of July 2024 need to comply with the mandatory unified requirements UR E-26 and UR E-27 concerning Cyber resilience of ships and on board systems/equipment (both OT and IT). Does anyone know the magnitude of cost that a shipyard might involve in the negotiations either indirectly (as vessel’s value increase) or directly (as an extra cost if applicable)?
