The Navier-Stokes equations are the equivalent for fluids of Newton’s second law of motion trying to describe what happens when milk is mixed into a cup of coffee :coffee: (Big question every morning :smiley: )

They describe the behavior of flowing fluids and are among the Clay Mathematics Institute Millennium Prize problems, problems judged to be the most important open questions in mathematics.

Navier-Stokes equations, Mawell’s equations, and Chaos theory are my favourites :slightly_smiling_face:
