Should shaft torque meters be calibrated every 6 months in order to give accurate power readings?

Highly recommended to do calibration every six months, at least on power meters using strain gauges to avoid drifting (despite is a reliable and well known technology which is considered “maintenance free”) . I guess the other technologies also require some calibration (as all sensors do).
